DAB is commonly used for detection of horseradish peroxidase in membrane-bound and in situ applications.

Insoluble end product is resistant to alcohol and fading, making it ideal for immunohistochemistry. Each tablet contains five mg of DAB and will yield 10 ml of substrate solution, enough to effectively detect 50 cm² of membrane or about 20 slides.

pH (one tab/10 ml water): 4,8 to 5,2.

Packaging: DAB substrate available in glass bottle.
