Stirrers Magnetic Hotplate Stirrers
These Standard series hotplate stirrers with microprocessor control were designed for general laboratory heating and stirring. These analogue units equipped with easy to use, dial-adjustment controls. An internal RTD accurately measures and controls temperature. Hot symbol warning light is illuminated when heat is turned on and remains on until top plate cools down.

  • Cool touch housing made of heat-resistant polymer
  • Speed ramping feature to prevent splashing, improve magnetic coupling, and provide excellent low end control
  • Built in support rod holder

Stirrers are available with ceramic or aluminum top plates. Ceramic top plates feature an easy-to-clean, chemical-resistant, reflective white surface (units offer ±3% temperature stability). Aluminum top plates will not crack or chip, and offer a more even heating surface (units offer ±2% temperature stability).

Delivery information: Supplied with 234 cm detachable, 3-wire cord and plug, 38 mm PTFE coated magnetic stirring bar. Optional support rod kit is available which includes a 457 mm stainless steel support rod, 3-prong medium swivel clamp, thermometer/temperature probe extension clamp and hook connector.
