Masterflex® Transfer PTFE Hoses are designed specifically for the chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical & cosmetic industries, and are used as a suction and delivery hose where a flexible connection is required. The hose is manufactured using high-quality elastomers with excellent chemical and mechanical properties.
A smooth inner bore PTFE covered with Silicone is co-extruded to produce a lightweight hose, having great flexibility and which at the same time can withstand high pressure and temperature.
The hose is not suitable for chemicals like chlorine trifluoride, chlorine and fluorine gas, oxygen difluoride, phosgene and molten alkalis (e.g. sodium). It is also not designed to be used as an implant material or in applications where blood or human fluids are used.
