VWR®, Recyclable Howie Style and V-Neck Style Coats

Workwear

Designed to be recycled, these coats are made from recycled, high-quality polyester. The material is 100% recycled polyester and the stud fasteners, stitching, and labels are also made of 100% recycled polyester. This means that these coats can be recycled completely at end of life. The recycling service is included in the cost of the garment, a QR code in the garment explains the process.

All coats have two hip pockets and one breast pocket
Howie coats have stud fastening up to the neck
V-neck lab coats have embedded stud fastenings

When no longer needed, used coats are collected from your site and returned to a UK facility. Using an innovative recycling technology, this facility uses mechanical extrusion to turn the coats into rPET pellets. These can be spun back into yarn or turned into buttons, zips, fasteners, and other plastic components. The recycled material can therefore be made into new fabric and other products, giving a complete closed loop offering. This process can be repeated so that no virgin raw materials need to be used. The collection and recycling service is included in the cost of the garment. Garments are collected by Avantor and returned to a UK facility for recycling. A QR code in the garment explains the return process, to ensure all coats are recycled even if personel should change during the life of a garment.

Two styles are available, V-neck and Howie. General areas for usage include laboratories, hygienic areas, hospitals, and medical practices.

Ordering information: The coats are sold as one each, but are packed in cases of 20. At end of life, used coats are collected free of charge by Avantor for recycling. A QR code in the garment explains the return process.

Caution: General protection against dust, dirt, and harmless liquid splashes only. General laboratory uses; no protection against chemicals. Recycle garment at end of life. If you intend to logo or personalise these coats, please only use polyetser stitching, otherwise recycling will not be possible.
