VWR® 700 series advanced hotplates deliver accurate and repeatable results. Low profile, space saving design takes up less space in the lab. Spill resistant housing channels fluids away from internal components. Front panel features easy to use controls, which allow users to dial-in adjustments.

Integral support rod holder with locking knob accepts the optional support rod and clamp kit (444-2844). Microprocessor control regulates heating functions. Samples are heated to temperature quickly and accurately. Ceramic tops feature a chemically resistant, reflective white surface that's easy to clean. Durable aluminum tops provide a more even heating surface and will not crack or chip. The LED display, which is easy to read, shows set point temperature and the microprocessor control provides repeatable and accurate results every time. For additional safety, a hot symbol light is illuminated when the heat is turned on and remains on until the top plate cools down. Over-temperature protection ensures the unit will automatically shut down if it exceeds the set temperature by 10 °C. Built-in memory allows users to recall the last set temperature even when the unit has been turned off.
