These UV lamps with plastic housing are designed for TLC applications.

  • User friendly and versatile

  • Automatic switch off timer after 10 minutes reduces the risk of exposure to radiation
  • UV lamp 4: Tilt sensor automatically turns off the lamp in case the lamp is tilted more than 30 degrees

The viewing box is suitable for inspecting thin layer chromatograms and other objects in an undarkened room. The front of the box is closed with a roller shutter which can be pushed open to the left or to the right as required for inserting or marking objects. A glass filter in the viewing window protects the eyes against reflected short wave UV light.

UV Cabinet 4, a combination of the UV Lamp 4 and the Viewing Box 4, is specially designed for UV observation with minimal influence of ambient light. Thanks to a reduced footprint, UV Cabinet 4 requires only minimum space. The redesigned observation port has a built-in UV filter in the viewing window ensuring effective eye protection. The interior is accessible via the established roller shutter on the front.

Delivery information: UV lamps are supplied as 2×8 W or 1×8 W light tubes. UV cabinet includes viewing box and lamps. Viewing boxes sold separately do not include lamps.
