Shakers Orbital Shakers
Laboratory scale platform shaker, which is ideal for most culturing or aeration applications. Unit has a powerful yet quiet shaking mechanism and has been designed for problem-free continuous use. The cradle-type platform has four rubber cushioned horizontal securing bars which can be easily adjusted horizontally or vertically, to hold different flasks, bottles and beakers. Shaker can accommodate Erlenmeyer flasks or bottles, up to 12×250 ml, 9×500 ml, 4×1000 ml or 2×2000 ml. Speed is fully variable, and is set digitally ensuring consistency; the speed accuracy is maintained even over long runs.

  • Fully adjustable cradle system holds different sizes and types of vessel
  • Digital speed selection up to 300 rpm with soft start
  • Can be used at 4 to 40 °C (80% relative humidity), in a CO₂ incubator or environmental chamber
  • Digital timer which can be set can be set in hours, minutes, seconds or for continuous operation, with audible signal
  • BioCote® antimicrobial protection

Certifications: IP protection class according to DIN EN 60529: IP 31

Ordering information: Supplied with four-bar cradle platform. A larger platform (444-1609) is available to extend the capacity of the shaker up to 30×250 ml, 16×500 ml, 9×1000 ml or 4×2000 ml. The maximum speed using this platform is 150 min⁻¹, platform must be ordered separately.
