Gentamicin sulphate is a broad spectrum bactericidal, with activity against gram negative and gram positive organisms including Pseudomonas. It is stable over a wide range of pH and temperature and can be autoclaved. It’s normal appearance may range from nearly colourless to amber or yellow.

Recommended concentration for use in tissue culture media:
50 mg – 1 ml per litre
10 mg – 5 ml per litre
