Solid+Phase+Extraction+Plates+(SPE)
Supplier:
Avantor
Description:
Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) is commonly used as a highly selective sample clean-up or sample enrichment method prior to subsequent analyses. J.T.Baker® BAKERBOND® SPE 96 well plates are well suited for high throughput and automated SPE methods. With complementary high capacity sorbents to existing spe extraction columns in the J.T.Baker® BAKERBOND® range, higher throughput methodologies can now be simply developed and automated.

VARIAN
Description:
Alumina, like silica, is an extremely polar sorbent. The alumina surface tends to be slightly more stable under high pH conditions than unfunctionalised silica. The small particle size of the Bond Elut™ Alumina range ensures high extraction efficiency even when small bed masses are used.

Description:
Standard ultra-clean PP SPE columns are used for samples from 0,2 to 10 ml when standard speed, recovery, and final concentration are needed. These columns are ideal for separating drugs and small molecules. Columns are vacuum packed to preserve sorbent performance. The optimised round-rimmed tube and frits are made from ultra-pure polymers. The tubes fit most processors and racks.

OMEGA BIOTEK
Description:
RNA-Solv® Reagent is a one reagent system for the isolation of total RNA from cells and tissues. The reagent, a single-phase solution consisting of phenol and guanidine isothiocyanate, is a modification of the single-step RNA isolation method developed by Chomczynski and Sacchi. The sample is homogenised and lysed in RNA-Solv® Reagent, which maintains the integrity of the RNA while disrupting and denaturing endogenous RNases and other cellular components. Extraction of the lysate with chloroform further denatures proteins and separates the mixture into an organic and an aqueous phase. RNA remains exclusively in the aqueous phase, and is subsequently recovered by isopropanol.

OMEGA BIOTEK
Description:
The E-Z 96® Total RNA Kit is designed for isolation of total cellular RNA from up to 5×10⁶ cultured cells or soft tissues. This kit can process single or multiple samples in less than 60 minutes. Utilising HiBind® silica plate technology, the need for phenol/chloroform extractions, CsCl gradient ultracentrifugation, and precipitation with isopropanol or LiCl are eliminated. Samples are lysed in a denaturing lysis buffer which inactivates RNases. Binding conditions are adjusted and the lysate is transferred to a 96-well HiBind® RNA Plate where the RNA is purified via three wash steps. High quality RNA is eluted in RNase-free water. RNA purified using the E-Z 96® Total RNA method is ready for applications such as RT-PCR, qPCR, differential display, microarrays, and other downstream applications.
