Description: The Mag-Bind® Plant DNA DS 96 Kit is designed for difficult samples (DS) which are hard to lyse or contain high amounts of polysaccharides and polyphenols. The system uses a CTAB-based lysis buffer which does not require organic solvents. The proprietary binding system prevents inhibitors from binding to the magnetic beads. The wash buffer system further removes polysaccharides, phenolic compounds and enzyme inhibitors from plant tissue lysate. An optional rebinding step is included with the kit but most samples do not require the additional treatment.

Description: The Mag-Bind® PX blood RNA kit allows for the isolation of total RNA from 2,5 ml of whole blood that has been stored in PAXgene® Blood RNA tubes. Stabilised blood samples are first spun down and the nucleic acid pellets are washed and recollected. After washing, the nucleic acid pellet is dissolved into a specially formulated resuspension buffer. At this point the samples can be transferred to 96-well plates for processing in robotic liquid handlers and magnetic processors. High quality intact RNA can be isolated in less than 90 minutes.

Description: The Mag-Bind® Plant DNA 96 plus kit allows rapid and reliable isolation of high-quality genomic DNA from a wide variety of difficult to lyse and high polysaccharide plant species and tissues. The system utilises a CTAB-based lysis buffer without the need for a chloroform or other organic solvent steps. The proprietary wash buffer systems eliminate polysaccharides, phenolic compounds, and enzyme inhibitors from plant tissue lysates. This kit is designed for manual or fully automated high throughput preparation of genomic, chloroplast, and mitochondrial DNA. The Mag-Bind® Plant DNA plus kit also provides greater flexibility than silica plate based systems as partial plates can be used and can be scaled up to a 24-well format with the appropriate magnetic stand. The streamlined protocol can be easily adapted on most robotic liquid handling platforms. Purified DNA is suitable for PCR, qPCR, restriction digestion, hybridisation applications, as well as more demanding applications, such as RAPD.

Description: The E-Z 96® Total RNA Kit is designed for isolation of total cellular RNA from up to 5×10⁶ cultured cells or soft tissues. This kit can process single or multiple samples in less than 60 minutes. Utilising HiBind® silica plate technology, the need for phenol/chloroform extractions, CsCl gradient ultracentrifugation, and precipitation with isopropanol or LiCl are eliminated. Samples are lysed in a denaturing lysis buffer which inactivates RNases. Binding conditions are adjusted and the lysate is transferred to a 96-well HiBind® RNA Plate where the RNA is purified via three wash steps. High quality RNA is eluted in RNase-free water. RNA purified using the E-Z 96® Total RNA method is ready for applications such as RT-PCR, qPCR, differential display, microarrays, and other downstream applications.
