Fume Hoods and Enclosures Chemical Fume Hoods
Protector premier hoods are suitable for general chemistry applications and also explosion-proof models are available for laboratories with potentially explosive/flammable atmospheres. Hoods are available with a built-in standard fiberglass blower, or an explosion-proof fiberglass blower, or without a blower (remote blower sold separately).

  • With glacier white powder-coated steel exterior which is durable and corrosion resistant

  • Fluorescent lighting with vapor proof design

These hoods incorporate a sleek interior with a molded one-piece fiberglass liner which is specially formulated, fiberglass-reinforced polyester and it offers corrosion and fire resistance and easy clean up. Also these hoods are available in various wide benchtop designs.

These by-pass hoods feature the largest unobstructed sightline available (37,5" from work surface to header panel). Other features include Eco-Foil™ air foil that corrects natural turbulence while keeping cords out of the way, dry powder-coated steel exterior, safety glass sash, and molded fiberglass exhaust collar. Standard hoods include pre-wired LED lighting rated for 50000 hours. Explosion-proof (EP) models include incandescent lighting (bulb not included).

There are no seams where deterioration can occur or where contaminants can collect. These general purpose hoods are ideal for corrosive fumes but should not be used with perchloric acid, or radioactive or biological hazards.

Certifications: All models are ETL listed. 230 V models are CE listed.

Ordering information: Customise your hood with optional service fixtures that accommodate air, gas, vacuum or water lines. Complete your fume hood with a variety of accessories including blowers, work surfaces, storage cabinets, fire extinguishers, and air flow monitors (sold separately).
